August was a busy month so I never got round to doing my July wrap up, and yet somehow I had enough time to read 8 books (it would have been 9 if I hadn’t of gotten so distracted by Sherlock fanfiction). I have been on holiday though so I guess that’s fair enough. Advertisements
I hit a bit of a mental brick wall and so haven’t updated this for a little while. My apologies. With YALC fast approaching (just a couple of days left to go!) I thought I better catch you up on what I’ve been reading and buying recently.
I had two weeks off work in April which significantly helped me to finish nine books, which amounted to a remarkable 3,421 pages. Just imagine how many books I could read in a year if I didn’t have to work.
I managed to read six books in March which was more than I was expecting due to the length of one of them (you may be able to guess which one from the header photo).
I’m super impressed that I managed to finish eight books in February. There were some great reads as well so it was a pretty good month for me.
So I said in my Goals for 2017 post that I wouldn’t start reading a new book until I had reviewed the book I had just finished. I managed to last half a month. Whoops.
